Science Communication 360° Conference: The second edition offers new formats, international reach, and prominent keynote speakers
The Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, the Czech Academy of Sciences, and the SciComHub platform are bringing the second edition of the Science Communication 360° conference, which will take place on February 5, 2026 at the Jinonice Campus. We invite science communicators, PR specialists, and researchers interested in presenting their work to the public — both senior experts and those just starting their scientific careers.
After a successful pilot edition, participants can look forward to several new features. The main theme of the second year will be Institutions and Systems that Strengthen Science Communication. The morning part of the program will feature two keynote speakers – Dr. Christina Beck, Head of Communications at the Max Planck Society, and Dr. Tomáš Koblížek, a philosopher from the Institute of Philosophy, the Czech Academy of Sciences. The afternoon part will offer two blocks of discussion forums, in which we will focus on several key topics of this year.
In each block you will find a program in English. For details about the second year and the mission of the conference, see the interview with the co-founders – Kateřina Sobotková, Director of Division of External Relations at the Czech Academy of Sciences, and Tereza Klabíková Rábová, Vice-Dean for Public Relations at FSV UK.
Registration is still open, please use the registration form.
Let’s come together to think about how to communicate science collaboratively, openly, and clearly. Let’s inspire one another with our experiences, ideas, and diverse perspectives. Let the voice of science be heard loud and clear. We are looking forward to meeting you!
