Year 2025
The first edition of Science Communication 360° brought together the Czech science communication community under the motto let’s communicate science together, openly and clearly. Keynote talks by documentary filmmaker Iain Stewart and sociologist Paulína Tabery at the Czech Academy of Sciences were complemented by hands-on workshops at Kampus Hybernská, including a legal advice session and media training, as well as panel discussions on topics such as communicating during crises and the strategic communication of European projects.
Year 2026
The second edition of the conference, held at Charles University’s Jinonice Campus, focused on institutions and systems that strengthen science communication. Christina Beck from the Public Relations Department of the Max Planck Society and philosopher Tomáš Koblížek explored the role of science and its communication in society. Afternoon discussion forums provided space to share experiences and seek practical solutions in areas such as interdisciplinary collaboration, science communication in times of polycrisis, and the relationship between academia and the media.
